Alone time is paramount to any highly sensitive, empathic person. Even if you consider yourself extroverted and fueled by social interactions, solitude is absolutely necessary.

Give yourself time and space to just be.

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this practice as the quality of your solitude counts. Spending hours decompressing in front of the TV, while sometimes necessary, does not carry the same therapeutic weight as say a distraction-free walk in your nearby park followed by a spa-like bath and creative journaling session.
