Anchoring and grounding your energy is essential.
There are a million ways to ground but here is my absolute personal favorite— it’s especially accessible for those who are high-strung and have difficulty relaxing.
Grab an outside blanket
Lie down flat on the ground in corpse pose
Take a few deep breaths and relax into the ground
Cross your ankles and bring your knees-up to your waist. At this point only your head and torso rest on the ground (see pic below)
Rock your hips back and forth to the extent that it feels good
Take the sky view in as you let the Earth absorb and replenish your energy field
Enjoy for ten minutes or longer— in fact please don’t get up until you feel like you’ve reset
