When you are just creating a website it can seem overwhelming. What pages do you need? Must you have? Below is a list of basics. You are not confined to using boring categories, in fact I encourage creativity. Keep in mind the basic premise of any webpage is that is must have a clearly defined purpose and path to some kind of action and it needs to be relevant to the overall mission of your website.

This can either be a fun/ warm/ unique page or your blog. The choice is yours. But it is important to think of your main objective when they land at your website- it is to read your blog? Schedule a session? Opt-in to your newsletter for a free offer?
Create an OPT IN gift:
This is a gift/ free giveaway that your people will find valuable. Ask yourself what is a simple, VALUABLE gift/ insider perk or deliverable you can give away as a thank you for collecting their email address.
Create various OPT IN prompts:
These are emotional, compelling, action-inspiring statements that encourage folks to subscribe to your mailing list, of course in return for something they want. You will place these prompts along with a link to subscribe or an embedded form to grow your list of potential clients, followers, fans + colleagues.
2. About + Contact
This page will address who you are + what you do + WHY you do it. It is important to highlight what your gifts and talents and medicine is + using words to attract your right people.
Also map out your IDEAL CLIENT profile. Create your ideal client profile with life circumstances, feelings and or soul experiences that would be ideal for you and your services. In some way shape or form you'll integrate this material on your site. At the very least this becomes the end vision for WHO you are creating your space for.
3. Offerings and Services
What are your service and offerings and pricing structure? What is the need you are fulfilling. Concentrate on the story, the WHY, the art form of what you do rather than the cut n dry service. You'll need to organize and create a digital map of your offerings, including detail description and pricing options + other relevant information.
The blog is a way for you to generate quality content with your people. It will serve many purposes but it is needed. What intention or purpose would you like to set around your blog? This will be something I code into the backend for the Google.
A place to highlight social profiles, popular blog posts, your opt-in offer, archive searches and lovely images linked to offerings.
I prefer to embed testimonials on each service and offering page but you can also have a testimonial page. Begin collecting praise from your clients and friends!

7. Google Details
This can be a last step but you will need to generate a tagline and description to register for the Google – this will help with searches and for when your URL is shared. Capture keywords for your work once you've clearly defined what you are creating.
